Blogtober 2022 : Day 6
It’s been a busy day today and I’m late in posting but better late than never!
Thanks for all your comments on the Blogtober posts, it’s lovely to have you along with me on my ramblings! I am really enjoying hearing about what you’re up to – and who knew that that egg cookers were so popular? 🙂
Fieldwatch photos today, showing how quickly the Winter wheat is germinating in the fields. It’s really shooting up, there is no question now that something is growing.
On the path back towards Winwick, there’s a gap in the hedges that the footpath goes through. I love going through this gap, especially the other way as it feels as if there’s something magical on the other side (and there was over the Summer when the blue flax was growing!). The spire of Winwick church is showing over the top of the right hedge just past the gap, but it’s dwarfed by the pylon. Ancient and modern in the same view.
A bit further along this footpath, through some trees and onto a lane that meets the main road.
I’m nearly home.
Sounds like we’ve all been busy today. It makes all the difference when the sun shines. Lovely open skies. Perfect for walking in. B x
We didn’t have any sunshine but it was nice that it didn’t rain! Off to catch up with your blog now! 🙂 xx
What a huge looking sky! It’s strange how quickly some things grow isn’t it? We’ve got Grape Hyacinth sprouting already – I just hope it survives the frosts!
It was a big sky! Wow, it’s early for grape hyacinths isn’t it, although I’ve noticed some of my bulbs are appearing already. Hopefully they’ll all be OK! 🙂 xx
I do enjoy your Blogtober posts. I’m laid flat with a really nasty cold so I’m living vicariously at the moment.
Oh, I’m sorry to hear that! I do hope you’re feeling better and are up and about again soon xx
Hi Christine, I am enjoying your October blogs. Lovely to read what you are doing and knitting on a day to day basis. Thank you for taking the time and posting your lovely photos 😊🧶
I’m really glad you’re enjoying them, thank you! 🙂 xx
