Comet Socks

£0.00

Knit yourself a cosy pair of paperchain cable socks with this pattern designed especially for West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply Robin yarn!

This pattern was designed especially for the 2020 West Yorkshire Spinners Christmas yarn, Silent Night.  You can read the blog post about this pattern and the yarn here:  WYS Christmas yarns and socks 2020

This pattern has a central lace panel repeated on the front and back of the leg, and then again down the foot.  The pattern has both a chart and written instructions, and is written for four sizes.  The heel flap is in knitted in heel stitch to give a comfy, cushioned heel.

As always, the pattern is based on my Basic 4ply Socks pattern so if you’re new to socks or need a refresher, you can use the Sockalong tutorials to help you.

There is a knee high version and a slouch version of this pattern called Vixen, available in the West Yorkshire Spinners Christmas pattern book:  West Yorkshire Spinners Christmas Collection 1
