Here’s where the Yarndale Sock Line 2019 socks have gone!
Some people sent more than one pair but I have only listed their name once for each organisation in case you were thinking that the number of names doesn’t add up to the number of socks we have! If a pair of socks was donated without a tag, I’ve only been able to list them as “unknown”. It’s a real shame when this happens as if these were your socks, I can’t tell you where they’ve gone!
Thank you so much to everyone who knitted socks and made suggestions as to where they would be welcomed! xx
Marie Curie Hospices – www.mariecurie.org.uk
The socks have gone to an initiative set up by a Marie Curie consultant, Dr Sarah Holmes, who plans to give a pair of knitted socks for every hospice resident this Christmas. The socks that have gone to the hospices were either knitted in the limited edition West Yorkshire Spinners Marie Curie yarn or were the charity’s colours.
