Helleborus niger – Lenten rose …

Flowers on my money plant (Crassula ovata). I’ve never seen it flower before – I never even thought that it could! It seems quite fitting that there are brand new flowers on a day that represents new life.
Happy Easter to you xx
Happy Easter to you, as well! I hope you've got the beautiful, balmy sunshine that we have as well?
Yes, the sun's out, it's lovely and warm, we've walked to the park to play on the swings and even had an ice cream on the way home. Fab! xx
Happy Easter to you too! Enjoy that cake- it looks yummy! J9x
It is! 😉 xx
Happy Easter Christine I saw my first bees of the year too today on the moorland around Beamsley Beacon . Everything is starting to emerge from the slumber of winter which is so exciting . Enjoy your Easter with your family . With warm regards Tracy ( Handmade Over Yonder )
Hello Tracy, how lovely to see you! I've never heard of Beamsley Beacon so I've just googled it and it looks like a great walk – definitely one to add to our list! xx
Happy Easter! xx
And to you! xx
Happy Easter! The skies are marvelous tonight and the plant life in the garden is amazing, too. I do like your little grape hyacinths, they are sweet. x
We've got thick fog now, obviously the pay-off for such a lovely day! Glad you've got something lovely to look at instead! xx
Hello, it looks like you had a wonderful Easter celebration. I love the simnel cake. I tasted it for the first time years ago when we celebrated Easter in England with our daughter. It's a lovely tradition. Have a wonderful week. And, your garden looks lovely….
Thank you! I love Simnel cake too; that squishy, gooey marzipan bit in the middle does it for me every time. Small daughter just wants to eat the marzipan off the top! xx
Happy Easter. Your simnel cake looks gorgeous. I love your flower photos, Spring has definitely arrived. I saw a beautiful magnolia in bloom yesterday, stunning. xx
Happy Easter to you too! As my Camellia has declined to flower this year, I'm hoping for great things from my Magnolia! 🙂 xx
Bees? That is not just springy – that's summery! I've never heard of a Simnel cake before this year, but have seen them everywhere this year. I love marzipan so I guess I should give this recipe a try ASAP!
Happy (belated) Easter! I saw a gigantic bumble bee this morning. So lovely to have a bit of sunshine and see the garden springing into life, isn't it? 🙂
It's wonderful! I've spent a good deal of time in the garden over the last couple of days and it's been really lovely to be able to spend time in the sunshine xx
