Whilst out with the dog …

(With apologies to Louis Armstrong)

I see trees of green and skies of blue

A mother duck, and her ducklings too

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

I see wildflowers in the meadow

I see swans resting in the stream

I see bees in flight

And a hedgehog at night

The things that you see when you look about you.

I see carpets of fluff, seed heads like snow

I see one tired dog – he’s snoring, you know!

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

Oh yeah.
